USB Show reveals the hidden files on your USB memory stick. It's extremely useful for getting rid of the effects of direct access viruses, also known as shortcut viruses or hidden folder viruses, which are spread via memory sticks.
The hidden folders detective
USB Show scans the disks connected to the PC, searching for hidden folders and files, and reveals them instantaneously. It simultaneously creates a register where the folders that have been found can be viewed.
When you open the USB disk from Explorer you will see that all the previously hidden files and folders are now visible. Be careful: not all of the files revealed by USB Show need to be deleted.
Just click and wait, it's as easy as that
USB Show is straightforward: you just need to choose the disk to be scanned and click the only button available. Once selected, USB Show scans the disk in search of non-visible elements and makes them visible again.
USB Show is only available in Spanish and English. There is no help function, and the interface texts are short on explanation. But the task this utility performs is so specific that it's barely necessary to know more.
Useful, but it's not an antivirus
USB Show is a utility that complements the activity of antivirus software, but on its own it does not delete the malware hidden on a memory stick. If you suspect that your USB memory stick harbors infected files you should use reliable antivirus software, or specific antivirus software such as MCShield or Amir Antivirus.
